Hair Braiding - A New Art Form

In the last couple of years, hair styles have metamorphosed from a set of threads on top of a man's head into a brand new form of self expression. Individuals can carry their artistic and creative capabilities to their head. This concept has been particularly influential in the African American society, where kinky twists, cornrows and other styles of braiding have shaped the way in which they style their hair.

Special braiding is easy to learn, but it is easy to mess up without necessary training. There are basic steps and procedures that stylists have to learn before they start working on someone else's hair style. A couple of the most significant things to learn before styling somebody's hair is what tools will be required and how to set up a hair braiding post.

Once the braiding station is ready, the stylist needs to learn about the right finger positions during the braiding process. This is an important element of styling hair because without good finger positioning, the rows, twists, or braids can end up with problematic ending points in them or they could get wider or smaller then they should be. These ordinary problems can easily be prevented under the right training.

After learning the methods to braid or twist hair, the stylist can then focus on the finishing touches. A thing that a lot of people don't know about hair styling is that the ends of the braids are the key parts. If an end comes loose or looks bad, it has the potential to make the whole braid look bad. The better strength of a bottom, the better a hair style can last.

After training is completed, the braider is then free to start developing a masterpiece. An individual can place the strands into whatever style she desires, and every single time she can develop a new masterpiece. Braiding hair is enjoyable and simple, and it allows the hair stylist to develop something new and beautiful each time. Who wouldn't want that?

In this blog related to hair styles and how to care for him there is here therefore I invite you all, especially the women are generally the men should never miss this bit of my articles because it'll be different each week I present it to your hairstyle lovers please see again here ok ...

Curling Straight Hair

Do you have straight hair? Are you jealous of all those gorgeous curls on your friends and on celebrities? Curls are in right now. If you have straight hair, you are in luck because it's not that hard to get curls as well. It will take a little bit more work, but it is possible.

First, you need to wash and condition your hair. Make sure your hair is clean and well moisturized. A curling iron can be very drying to your hair, so you need to make sure your hair is as moisturized as possible. If you can, use a deep conditioning treatment beforehand for soft hair and the best results. Also, use a moisturizing shampoo. If you have oily hair, concentrate the moisture away from the scalp. With oily hair, it's the top that gets greasy often leaving the rest look dry.

Next, either let your hair air dry, or blow dry it. Add a defrizz serum if you would like before you blow dry. Blow dry it straight so that you end up with a clean slate. One good idea is to wash it the night before and then let it air dry overnight so that it's dry by the morning. This will also help minimize the heat and damage you put on your hair.

When your hair is ready, make sure you have all your tools: a comb or brush, a medium sized barrel curling iron, hair gel, hair spray. The size barrel you use will depend on your hair. If it's very straight and seems impossible to curl, use a smaller barrel to make sure it starts off curlier and then if it loses some of the curl, it still looks nice. You could use just gel or just hairspray, but it will hold better if you use both.

First, take a small one inch section of your hair. Comb or brush it straight. Take a small dab or hair gel and rub it between your two fingers. Then, run your gel covered fingers over the strand of hair, making sure not to get too much hair at the top. Shift your finger down to make sure the gel spreads evenly. Make sure you don't use too much so that it's crunchy. A little crunch at first is okay because you will scrunch it up later to get rid of the crunch. Use a strong hold gel and not a curling gel. Curling gel is made for naturally curly hair just to keep it in place. It is light and not strong enough to keep curls in naturally straight hair.

Next, take your curling iron, make sure it's hot, clip it around the top of your section of hair, and pull it down until it's just covering the end. Then, twist the barrel until you have the entire section of hair wrapped around the iron. Hold it for 3 to 5 seconds. Don't hold it too long because you will burn your hair. Quickly unravel your hair and release the curl. Right away, spray it with a sprits of hair spray. Don't touch it just yet. If it looks too curly for your liking, that's a good thing. Just leave it for now.

Continue around your head until you've curled all of your hair. When it is finished, turn your head over and spray hair spray all over then shake your head to loosen up the curls. Flip your hair back and arrange your curls how you want to them to look. Add some pins and clips if you want. If a curl is still too tight, tug on it gently until it's right. Gently scrunch any curls that are too crunchy. Finish it off with more hair spray and you are ready.

I think you need a good haircut and attractive may make a party or formal event or a casual, therefore I try to show you all the models of quality hair so you can try these hair styles and hopefully this blog you find the haircut you want good luck ...

How To Choose Sexy Hairstyles For Medium Length Hair

Longer lengths can be troublesome to take care of and shorter lengths may not fit different facial shapes or looks as well but medium hairstyles seem to be just right for a lot of women. Medium length hair is probably the most versatile choice out there for today's modern women. These hairstyles vary between long hairstyles and short hair styles. Many women find a mid-length haircut is a great option for many different types of hair texture, rather it be thin and brittle, thick, or just right. Medium hairstyles also are very versatile in the different number of updos, bobs, and various other styles that can be combined with the hair to create some gorgeous looks that is easier to maintain than longer locks while providing looks that are more comfortable and more flattering than shorter hair cuts.

Medium hairstyles match most facial shapes well as there is just enough hair complimenting the facial region and improve other features. Hairstyles with hair length to the shoulders or a small bit above them bring out many facial features with many options for styling. The bob, the shag, and the straight cut are some popular mid-length hairstyles. One classic medium length cut is the bob. A bob is a haircut that's all one length and ranges from chin length to shoulder length. Bobs can be curly or straight depending on your hair texture, and look fantastic either way. They're versatile as well, and can easily be upswept for an evening look or left hanging freely for a cute, feminine look. Another great medium length cut is the shag. A shag cut involves cutting layers of various lengths into hair.

Medium length hairstyles are great for layering because of their versatility. Layering medium hair length correctly by framing the facial area often brings out a person's eyes, lips, and other facial features in a non-obtrusive manner. A medium length cut can be worn curly, wavy or straight. For gorgeous curls, use a curl enhancing spray or mousse on damp hair and blow dry with a diffuser. To define particular strands, curl with a 1/2 inch curling iron or set on small hot rollers. There are so many ways to layer medium length hairstyles because it is long enough to go short in different areas and short enough to keep in others. The simple flow down medium hairstyle is popular because it is very simple. Just letting your hair flow down with either bangs down or parted with additional waves, ringlets, or curls at the ends.

You want a good haircut and interesting on this blog maybe you can get it because I provide a lot of hair styles that you can sample to your own style, therefore you should never miss this blog and continue to follow developments in case there is a suitable with you ok ...

Finding Your Best Hairstyle

We see them everywhere; on TV, on magazine covers while we wait in shopping lines, and sometimes,on occasion, on a friend or a stranger. Just seeing a great hairstyle and falling in love with it is only the bare beginnings of creating a whole new you. Before sitting in your stylist's chair and expecting miracles from him or her, let's discuss what you need to take into consideration before those scissors touch a single strand.

First of all, consider your lifestyle. Do you work indoors in an office all day? You can afford to spend the extra time on your look should you desire since there should be nothing working against your hair such as wind or rain. Or are you out in the elements? Perhaps you go to the gym after work and need a style that dries by itself and yet still looks presentable? A precision cut or permanent wave may suit this type as they both would dry stylishly on their own. Longer hair of course should be clipped up in the wind to protect its health as well as its beauty.

Secondly, how much time do you really have to spend in the morning to create your fabulous look on a daily basis. Not how much time you'd like to spend or think you will, yet the harsh reality of how many actual minutes on the ticking clock do you have before you really need to hit the road to work or school? An everyday look should fit into your routine.

Should you only need a few, quick curls, then plugging in the old curling iron every morning will become second nature having it ready for a couple of quick applications. Do you shower in the morning and would rather have a cut that you can just blow dry or flatiron and have it lay right in place? Your style will demand more trips to the salon for trims as any style that has that precision cut to keep it low-maintenance will have to have the style kept "in shape". And this doesn't necessarily mean a short haircut as medium length styles can have blunt lines or textured ends to speed up the styling process having them styled straight or perhaps in a little "flip".

Have a little more time to spend on your do? Perhaps you would like a little more body or curl. Large, loose curls are are the rage now, ranging from gigantic 3-5 vertical curls that are left undisturbed to fall freely during the day to the more time-consuming S-waves. Should you prefer the latter on a regular basis, you should consider a design-wrap perm to lock these defined patterns in and cut your styling time way down. This will be less damaging to your hair in the long run as you won't be applying the direct heat from appliances on a daily basis.

So now you have an idea of time and environment. The next step is the hardest. Your head and facial shapes, as well as your neck structure are all very important things to consider in determining how well you might carry off that cute style you just saw. Unless you are fortunate enough to have a perfect oval face, a well defined jawline, a sleek neck of average length, all of which are well-balanced enabling you to wear short, medium or long styles of any type, you need to face the facts that you probably cannot wear just any hairstyle that you fall in love with.

Brush all your hair back off of your face, clip it or place a headband. What do you see? An oval, a square shape? Heart? Is it oblong? Or Diamond shaped?

Square, Heart and Oblong shapes usually tend to have "high foreheads". These require a part close to the center that allows hair to fall along the temples and covers up the majority of the forehead. Though the best remedy for this situation are bangs, or as they call them abroad, fringe. Bangs cover or break up areas that we would prefer to disguise.

Diamond and Heart shaped faces have very narrow chins and styles that hit about the jawline is best to help "fill in" this weak area. Or a longer style could be worn with layering in this area that may be textured with curls which would also serve the same purpose. However, Square and Oblong shapes have thick, wide jawlines and it's best to draw attention away from this area. These face shapes should not have a hairstyle that widens this area further. Hair should be flat (straight) against the sides of their chins or at least much longer or shorter to draw attention up or down away from the chin or jawline. Remember this can apply to anyone with a double chin or thick throat area as well.

These same rules apply to the top of the face. A short forehead, one who has a hairline that comes down close to the eyebrows, also needs camouflaging. Bangs are an option here. Diamond, Square and Oblong shapes do not want hairstyles that comb back to expose these flaws. It's best to allow hair to fall on the forehead somehow to disguise your less than perfect hairline.

A Diamond or Oblong shaped face needs to be very careful to avoid hairstyles with fullness across the nose and eye level as these styles will only make their face shape appear wider here. Neck length can appear shorter or longer according to your needs, depending on your style and its length. This physical characteristic is often overlooked.

Now to discuss your hair color. Yes, it's something you really need to consider as it can make or break any hairstyle. You can have the best haircut in the world for you, however, if the color is all wrong, it ruins the whole look. For those of you, who already color their hair or are considering it, know these important factors. Black and very dark shades are not just for the young-at-heart, they are for the younger and younger looking crowd only. These unforgiving colors will only harshen the features of anyone who has found themselves with fine lines and wrinkles. Very fair, porcelain skin should steer clear of very light shades as this usually washes them out.

Determine if you are a warm or a cool color person. Yes, it's something else to think about, yet it is a good thing to know not just for hair color, yet for makeup color and clothing colors as well. While some folks are lucky enough to wear either one, some look only good in one or the other.

Look good in pinks, blues, or violets? These make you a "cool color person". Only look good in warm colors? Then you usually select reds, oranges, or yellows. Green is a neutral shade and some colors steer away from their usual temperature. For example, red can be cool if it has purple undertones like say a burgundy and yet it can be quite warm if it has more of an orange cast to it.

Why is all of this important?

Well, if you are a cool color person, you cannot wear true reds or an auburn hair color unfortunately. Ever see a redhead wearing purple clothes? This is an extreme example, yet I think you get the picture. Likewise if you only look good in warm colors, anything violet, blue or possessing a blue cast would be out of the question.

Yes, there IS a lot to consider when you are talking beauty and fashion. However, once you sift through all the determining factors and find what really works best for you, you'll learn to really spot a great haircut or style that would be perfect for you instantaneously. And shopping for clothes and makeup will become much easier and fun!

Spare yourself the heartache of crying yourself to sleep knowing your hair will take forever to grow out from a bad style. Find a stylist who will really, truly listen and who has this knowledge and then some. ALWAYS take pictures with you when you want to make a hairstyle change. Not only will you know both of you are on the same page about your looks, you will reap the rewards of all your homework and knowledge. And feeling better about yourself can only lead to more confidence and a better outlook on life in general.

Short Hairstyles for the Summer

Ah, summer has arrived and it is time to tan and enjoy the beach for those lucky enough to be close enough to the ocean. Well everyone should enjoy summer anyways. With summer comes heat, and with heat comes our desire to wear less or thinner clothing. The same idea applies to our hair. For those of you who have not shed the long locks for shorter strands during the summer months, definitely try it once in your life. My experience was sensational as I decided to clip off my hair, granted it wasn't long but medium length. The experience was good as it felt totally different and it gave my whole attitude a different push during those summer seasons. I came to find that most of my summer cloths matched well with my new short hairstyle. Probably because the hairstyle I chose to copy was from Charlize Theron in many of her ads.

Why should you do as I did you ask? Well to make it simple, a woman who has not tried a short hairstyle will not truly appreciate her hair as much if she hasn't cut it short. I am not saying go cut it super short but rather a short length that is in a comfortable zone. Right off, there should be a renewing feeling because it feels totally different not to have as much hair. Second shorter hair is much easier to maintain and hairstyles do not take as much effort. Coloring and highlighting is also much easier. There are also a good variety of short hairstyles great for summer weather and clothing.

What better than a new short hairstyle to go with those shorts and skirts. Maybe you have never imagined a different look to go along with your wardrobe, but if you did it would greatly surprise you how some clothing just combines so well with a different hairstyles and creates a totally unique look. From swim suits to evening wear, there are short hairstyle variations that fit well in all these situations.

For those women who are considering a short hairstyle, lets look at some of the top celebrity short hairstyles out there. Celebrities are great measuring points for most of us who have similar features because short hairstyles tend to bring out a lot of facial features. First lets look at some everyday short hairstyles.

Lets look at my short hairstyle which is a copy of Charlize Theron's style. I chose this short hairstyle because I have a similar facial shape and the hairstyle seemed to be versatile in that I can add curls, play with the bangs, and even do cute tie backs. It is a very good choice to start off with because it is not too short but gives a similar different experience.

Two very popular, beautiful short hairstyles that will look good on most women is from the stars of 'A Simple Life' Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie. Both have sported very cute, sexy short hairstyles that are perfect for just everyday events to hanging out with the stars. The short hairstyles these two sport are not too short length wise and are great changes for women thinking about shorter dos.

Well in short, consider a short hairstyle one of these summers and try it for an unforgettable experience that will not only enlighten you, but make you more appreciative and open to different hairstyles and overall style options.

If the summer season comes you should change your hairstyle because according to research that short hair can cool your face because the cool air hit that hit, therefore a lot of some people cut their hair to avoid summer heat when the season comes, whether you want to try it too ?? please see the first model of hair on this blog .... ok

Hair Salon Insurance - Getting a Good Deal

You may think that getting a good deal on your hair salon insurance is all about how much money it costs you. This is true to a certain extent but it's not the only thing you need to think about. Keeping insurance costs low is a good thing. Keeping them so low that you miss out on essential cover benefits is not so good.

The best way to get a good deal on your insurance policy may well be to firstly work out what you need before you start comparing policies. Getting the right cover from the word go could well be really useful to you and your business if you need to make a claim at some point in the future.

There are some elements of commercial insurance that most businesses will find essential. These include:

* Buildings and content cover (to cover your premises and your equipment)
* Employers' liability cover (if you employ any staff then the law states that usually you must have this cover)
* Public liability cover (to provide financial assistance with legal costs if a customer or other visitor has an accident on your premises and then decides to sue you)

Some specialist hair salon insurance policies will also offer product/treatment liability. This may be built into your public liability features or you may need to add it on as an extra but as not all policies provide this cover, you must check that it is included within the terms and conditions if you require this protection.

This kind of benefit may be the one you need most of all. It doesn't matter how skilled you are at your trade -- you will be using treatments that could cause problems and you may simply have a dissatisfied customer who decides to sue you. So, for many salon owners, this is an essential and not just a 'good to have'.

Once you've worked out what you need from your hair salon insurance policy you'll have to go out and find one at the right cost. Looking at specialist insurance providers may be a cost effective route to take in the long run. You may well find that an insurer that understands your business might be able to come up with the best cost deal for you.

If you want to find a place to take care salon or overhaul your hair look for a place nice and comfortable for you and of course a professional because your hair is a crown you do not want your hair to be ugly? This blog may be an inspiration for you all ok ...
